I can’t believe we are less than TWO WEEKS away from the official, worldwide release of Skylark: The Dragon Lady! Writing a book has been a dream of mine since I could write. Quite honestly, I never thought it would happen – too expensive, too much work, and who has time to write a whole book? I am proud to say that I did it, and I worked hard to make it happen.

So here we are now, yet it still doesn’t feel real. For my whole life I have collected books and been an avid reader, always wondering in the back of my head if my own writing would grace anyone’s shelves when I got older. As I often do, I sit and hold a copy of Skylark in my hands, unable to believe that it’s a thing you can touch, no longer just ideas in my head. I am an AUTHOR – which is crazy!

To celebrate the occasion I decided to have some photos taken with one of my greatest accomplishments in life. My neighbor is an excellent photographer so she and I went over to our local park and snapped a few photos to commemorate this oh so special occasion.
